Foundations, businesses, and individual donors who gave to the campaign to help build the Labrador Wellness Centre gathered at the Central Labrador YMCA to celebrate the final phase of the campaign and to unveil the donor wall.
The event was hosted by Jason Brown, YMCA of NL CEO with Mayor Andrews expressing his thanks to the donors on behalf of the Town. Campaign Co-chair Jamie Snook then presented the major donors with certificates of recognition as a thank you for their generous contributions.
Guests had a chance to tour the facility, view the donor recognition signage and donor wall, and see the unique pieces of cultural representation throughout the facility.
Without the gifts from members of the community, including businesses and foundations both local and national, the campaign would not have raised the close to $2 million it achieved!
